Introducing
DOSSHOUSE BLUES
An ebook of lyric poetry by John
O’Loughlin
Which can be previewed via the link
below the following brief Centretruths editorial:-
Dosshouse Blues was John O’Loughlin’s
first real collection of poems, written on and off during 1973-75, and it
reflects the lyricism and formal simplicity of youth, revealing the influence
of poets like Rimbaud, Ezra Pound, Adrian Henri, and Doors lead singer Jim
Morrison on his formative years as a writer. Although technically and
thematically modest, this introductory collection is by no means an
insignificant start to Mr O’Loughlin’s literary vocation, which began
pleasantly enough in the semi-rural environs of Merstham,
