This compilation of polychromatic
abstract poetry or, better, poetic word art, dating from 1994, is comprised of
some sixty-four ‘poems’ utilizing upper-case monosyllabic words, thereby
extending beyond the lower-case scope of the three volumes of Contemplations
(1985) and the mixed-case nature of Supercontemplations (1993)
into more absolutely elevated examples of the genre which have been described
by Mr O’Loughlin as Ultracontemplations,
since, like their forerunners, they only require to be contemplated and are
thus akin to art, if to art with a noumenal as
opposed to phenomenal or phenomenal/noumenal bias. -
